Toronto Walks & Tours provides curated walking experiences and related content. Access to our website and services is provided “as is” and “as available.” If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the site or book a tour.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Bookings
Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of confirmation email. Please review meeting points and schedule.
To complete a booking, you must provide accurate contact details and payment information. You are responsible for reviewing the itinerary, duration, accessibility notes, required fitness level, and any special instructions included in your confirmation.
Please arrive at the specified meeting point at least 10 minutes before the scheduled start time. Late arrivals may miss the tour without entitlement to a refund.
- Minimum age or guardian requirements may apply to certain tours.
- Prices are listed in CAD and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- We reserve the right to modify routes due to weather, safety, or city events.
- Special accommodations should be requested at least 48 hours before the tour.
Cancellations
Full refund up to 24 hours before start time. Within 24 hours, we offer rescheduling based on availability.
Weather in Toronto can change quickly. Our tours operate rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather or conditions that could affect safety, we may cancel and offer a full refund or free reschedule.
- To cancel, use the link in your confirmation email or contact support with your booking ID.
- No-shows are not eligible for refunds.
- Private or custom tours may have different cancellation windows as indicated at booking.
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
Liability
We limit liability to the amount paid for the tour. Follow guide instructions and local laws at all times.
Participation in walking tours involves inherent risks, including but not limited to street crossings, uneven surfaces, weather exposure, and interactions in public spaces. By joining a tour, you acknowledge these risks and agree to take reasonable care for your own safety.
- We are not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.
- Participants are responsible for complying with municipal bylaws and traffic rules.
- If you have a medical condition, ensure you are fit to participate and bring necessary medication.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, indirect or consequential damages are excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and applicable federal laws of Canada.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Toronto, Ontario. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
